And this is a particularly mild "winter". I've spent most of it in shorts and t-shirts (tops of 20-24, mins around 10). Feels more like Spring, though might be something cooler on the way.
WalthamOwl
Personally think DC going for it was in his first season. That failed and now we are going to have to deal with the consequences of that by having sod all money to spend.

Hack-Abusi
That penalty is flipping pitiful .. you want teams to stop doing this .. doing a Wolves last season and Forest this season spending past their means ... start deducting points!!

Birley Owl 1867
I'd just say fizz it. If they try and fine us more we point to this and say it's a precedent, we should not get a bigger punishment.
jellybean
I think the fl have to confirm any signings and if they are already watching you financially they can say that you can't complete certain signings if they think it will take you over your limit, so I believe. Blue and white
I think its a fair assumption that DC has money to spend, if not him personally then he has access to it. It's common knowledge we are very close to the ffp limit and whilst our squad is very good there are no guarantees that throwing money at it and taking us over the limit is a proven road to success, yes it worked for Wolves and Bournemouth but teams like Villa and countless others have failed. Looking at our recent history we would be foolish to risk the stability of the club. The squad we have with one or two additions is more than capable of promotion from this league. If we are still in this league next year we will have greater room for movement in the transfer market.

Blue and white
And the spending of the first year under Chansiri will be written off so all in all it should free up some serious cash.
doubleo
Just got to steady the financial ship for a season or two. Get a few young fit lads in, build a squad and push on when the books are clear. Let's see what Jos can do.
