TheEnchanter
Few points made in other thread. Fair play if true, not too gutted about losing him. Although it does mean losing considerable pace in an already lacking squad. When pace is so key in modern football. It leaves us with poor fullback options in a team that looks like playing 352. It isn't an amazing fee to reinvest in the squad.
Spondon Owl
Odd one this. In a back three come five he was my first choice right wing back. Easily.

Agreed Always has been my choice too. I seriously hope we don’t go into the season with Liam Palmer as our first choice. No where near good enough. Id hope for Sam Bryon on loan perhaps? This, let’s hope the club has got a bargain Right wing back lined up or this is just more bad news on the transfer front as far as I can see

That's the worry. Someone better will cost in this market. Might be a loan or foreign option though.

fpowl
Think we’ll go with the youngen at back who played against Norwich last game with Palmer backup he likes the youth down the flanks and with Hunt he can bring a transfer fee in where Palmer wouldn’t it’s a bit out of the blue but not unsurprising wish we had kept him but still a good way to freshen up with youthful energy I like it

I'm guessing loan. But it will still leave us with Palmer as back up and not Hunt. Just doesn't add up. Unless we bring in 2 fullbacks both better than Hunt. Not very likely I wouldn't have thought. Adds up perfectly We need money Hunt is replaceable Hunt will be earning much more than Palmer Hunt is wanted by other teams, Palmer most likely isn’t
