Hunt to Bristol City, £1.6m

I do like Jack Hunt...but am I the only one that thinks £1.6million is a pretty good offer for him? Maybe if we could get £2million then I’d definitely sell

No fuss about hunt going at all.

I have if we're relying on Palmer to step up.

£1.6m (as Nixon has reported) would be a joke IMO.

We said since Wembley we needed to improve at fullback, not lose the only competent one we've got for less than half the amount we paid for Abdi

Don't think we should sell Hunt. Unless we have lined up someone much better.

Then again he isn't the strongest and if we do decide to replace him he isn't gonna be happy as 2nd choice.

Selling Hunt and only having Palmer and Baker makes me feel sick.

Shocking business if that's true imo.

Hunt! That’s a bad deal for £1.6m unless we can replace him

Not got a problem in principle and the fee for a player entering the last year of his contract in the right ballpark.

What does concern me is we have no one else for RWB, Palmer cannot play that role and Baker inexperienced.

I’m not a big fan of Hunt and 1.6m is decent enough but Palmer should be nowhere near our first team and that’s the worry for me.

£1.6m is a good return IMO for a player who is pretty hot and cold with a sketchy injury record.

Get a younger replacement on a free.

Dom Howson saying Hunt’s having a medical tonight

Considering he's away on his honeymoon I highly doubt that.

Nixon has alluded to fact no one is coming in until players are moved on. Hopefully this sale is the precursor to a few free signings.

On honeymoon while pre season is underway? I doubt that would be allowed by Jos.

Poor business for me terrible fee in this day and age. £3m even with his injury record.

Don't mind this deal at all.  Can't get someone younger on loan at least. Need better than Palmer but I'd take the cash this time.
