we were only 2 short of our strongest line up with forestieri and either joao or winnall playing . lee and hooper wont play again , westwood and Hutchinson, boyd abdi and jones also under jos wont play again . under a new manager westwood Hutchinson boyd  along with joao and forestieri would play in out 1st 11 and winnall when fit too , love to know what abdi does in training if he cant get a u23 game to get fitness? .the key to stopping up will clearly we have to get forestieri fit and winnall too . I hear that reach and either forestieri or bannan will leave in January as we wont have any chance by then of competing for top 6 as chansiri has clearly said that if we don't get promoted this season we are in serious trouble.

you need to get a job with HITC they specialise in 2 month old rumours

after that warning from DC I think most people think some of the 'big hitters' will have to leave

They can buy Big Dave from us, bargain at £5m

Can’t call him “Big Dave” on here. It upsets people.

They think it’s the lack of respect that makes him rubbish = unloved.

I put Nuhui in the same boat as Sharp and Clarke, unfortunately.

Ive found his performances this season(or lack of) staggering, frankly.

To be fair, he seems like an honest bloke - needs to sort himself out fitness wise IMO.

I often support him on here from the likes of Ian et al who couldnt/wouldn't  recognise his contribution last season

however it's hard to do the same this season he has been poor

To be fair we as a team have been fairly poor most of the season but Atty has been bad

On another tack i loved that last email from the Pig Fan " mind the gap " you would have thought they had learned about that particular phrase

as we are in a public mess akin to a fire sale I doubt we'll get anywhere near the proper fee for anyone

I'm resigned to it, this is a clusterfuck and it's going to be an interesting 2nd half of a season

why does everyone ring me whilst P or G on FFS   ( prob cheap skate barstewards)

Could be worse - could be stuck on the phone to your Mother.

She’s never bloody in so rang her tonight.

Just back with the dogs - belated Happy Birthday call then put  FH on. Catch it all. Easy.

Instead,  had to listen about her trying/starting Line Dancing at Grenoside.

10:30 -12:30. She wasn’t that fussed.

Apparently she was the oldest there at 87.

Happy Birthday Mum.

(And before you all start - I sent her a card, although I had to ask if she’d received it).

(Sent her a card - doesn’t mention it. Fail to do so - plays hell).

That team broke up in 75/76 though Nev. And we thought we were suffering! lol

Currie went that year, Woodward a little later but not in the team. The others mentioned a few years earlier. MOD sometimes features a Best goal v Dem Blavdes in a 1-0 win for Man U. Blades were league toppers at the time and wanted to top the league going into New Year. I said Speight, it wasn't Speight it was a guy that wen to Stoke for big bucks (Memory) Geoff Salmons that was it. Jones and Birchenall  67/68.

On another subject saw Blades released Alan Whittle, a great Everton prospect as a 17 year old, scored an incredible goal for Everton Res against us at Hillsborough. Blades released him on a free. You just can't tell with youngsters.

I don’t think they’ll go up.

I’d like to see them fail miserably.

You’re forgetting - It’s United we are talking about.

They’ll find a way to bottle it.

Like Friday.

They were terrific especially 1st half

Careful pal, sounding a little like a bitter manager there. Why didnt you go the whole hog and say all the match. I would  chose certain words, but terrific ain't one of them. Full strength side, at home etc. I would expect them to dominate but thats it.

We went to Greno the other week. I had a breakfast in the Old Post Office.

(Recommended).

I put my walking boots in the back of the car - and asked her if she fancied a walk up Greno Woods?

Too cold - Fox Valley, it was.

I dont think my Mum will be bumping into Meggo.

To be fair as a team they are probably the best United team i can remember in that sort of time frame ( maybe 20 years ) they have had better individuals but unfortunately for us they have a very good manager

Alan Knill is the brains, Wilder just delivers the foot up the arse
