PuntItLikeDielna
Most clubs nowadays offer this option, the £99 ones will be more tight fitting and actually meant for pro use, the others will be less tight and so more flattering for our chunkier fans

That’s what makes it ridiculous pal Having listened to the fans grievances I’m sure they’ll bring out a piece of A4 paper with a couple of blue biro stripes on it and call it the “saver shirt” and sell it for a reasonable £35

I for one won't be paying £99 for a football shirt (unless it makes me look like I have a 6-pack). Try this one mate. FFS.

I'm not going to argue against our shirts being right at the top end of the price spectrum but this argument is poor. The choice is not Nike, Adidas or Diadora. This is a Sheffield Wednesday shirt, the manufacturer is not important; the quality and price are relevant though. The quality, if last year is anything to go by won't be an issue but I can't argue the price isn't. Having said that my boy will have one and he'll get his enough wear out of it for me not to feel ripped off.

NorthernOwl
Genuine question - how does 59 quid compare to other championship shirts price wise? Let'd forget the 99 quid version since its a red herring. Very few are going to opt for it.

My lad is 6 and had so much wear out of them i viewed it as good value. It's also worth remember the replica prices are exactly the same as last year so i'm not sure why the surprise of so many

Even after the pricing was revealed, I thought I still might. Was hoping £49 max. We're a Championship club, making the kit in house. So I've decided, that buying one just justifies the price. So on that basis. I'm out.
