Beighton Owl 87
The prices are an absolute joke. Clubs with reputable manufacturers don't charge these prices. I don't know why the club continue to treat fans this way. I'll be intrigued to see what match day prices will be for first home game, I'm sure the club won't disappoint us. 1
Wednesday_Jack
Family of 4....minimum £240 on top of season ticket prices. I’m not usually one for moaning about ticket prices etc... but I think the two options are disgusting!! That shirt will have been made in Taiwan for £3.
The Batman
Remember last year, when we got mad at the £49 "offer price". It was higher than the previous year's, even though it was very late. Now it's gone up again! Not even a pretend offer this time. £59 for Elev8.

davey_wells
Doesn't really matter a huge amount whether 50 or 60 notes - but not having them ready for today's big launch after saying they would be ready all the way up to now is pretty embarrassing. Why the special early opening for the megastore? Are they really expecting huge queues and demand for the uber-pricey top, women's and dinky kids tops? I can imagine some people will be tearing the shirts from the manequins that are 'showcasing' the regular shirts...

Most people won’t know the prices or that they can’t buy one mate owls fans tend only to read headlines and believe most people won’t know you can’t have names and numbers printed today either there will be people rocking up totally oblivious to the facts on this one given the late admission of the club Owlstalk Shop

It’s not communist Russia. Different goods different prices. Personally I think exec boxes should be available as potg for around twenty quid per box Not communist Russia, just capitalist Britain 2018. £59 is abit steep imho, but to have the cheek to put something out there (made inhouse by elev8) at £99 is taking the wee wee

David1867
Fans moaning about prices. We had the chance in the survey thing last season to vote whether to lower prices or pay increased prices. Fans voted overwhelmingly for the higher prices on the promise that the club would continue to invest in players. Now the club has done it, don't moan about it. BIG D
I remember when Grandad used to post (with stats to prove it) that the club weren’t good enough at getting money from fans.
hasthagotanycheese
Dont want to pay the money for the new kit, simples take your business elsewhere: https://www.toffs.com/shop-by-team/football/championship/sheffield-wednesday?p=1 Truefans can wear these too. Why is it a shitty knockoff? It's not an actual swfc football shirt. It's a copy presumably using cheaper, lower quality materials. You can get one of those off the market for a tenner. They certainly used to advertise the shirts as having all this fancy made up 'anti sweat' technology and stuff so you certainly can't pretend it's ' always' been this way. At some point in the last few years they thought of a new, exciting way to rip off the fans. It's just now they are confident enough to try and double down and market a normal shirt as some sort of 'special pro edition'.
