Beholder 6,938 Posted June 29, 2018 (edited) Gotta say I'm not mad on it. Looks like a compromise. But at least there are some stripes on it. I like the purple goalie shirt best. Edited June 29, 2018 by Beholder
FreshOwl 4,184 Posted June 29, 2018 Now this post will no doubt cause a stir, and it’s not about the kit, but usually when you have a kit release you see the best players modelling them no ff, bannan, hooper. A bit odd to me
Rodger Wylde II 2,233 Posted June 29, 2018 Why are there stripes on only 40% of it?? Better but could have been brilliant. 6/10 Maybe one day...
Weshallovercome 4,927 Posted June 29, 2018 (edited) The cloth they made the shorts out of reminds me of some M&S pyjama bottoms I had when I was eight, wonder if they get electrocuted walking on a nylon rug like I did? Not fond of any of the kits, yeah a compromised striped shirt, but the kits were probably cheap and sadly look it imho. i used to be sc_owl 5,310 Posted June 29, 2018 It's going to set a new record as the most sold home shirt Sheffield Wednesday have had, using stripes, in the Championship in the 2018/2019 season. Fact.
ItalianOwl7 226 Posted June 29, 2018 Joey Pelupessy grabbing the badge with a massive smile is my favourite thing ever. No doubt at all he's gonna be our club captain.

As far back as 2003 So'ton had to have a plain back kit for Europe. They did the same for their brief appearance 3 years ago. This was their strip in Europe, with plain back. And the same one in the league, with striped back. Some weird rules about in UEFA/FIFA. 1
Ronio 9,942 Posted June 29, 2018 Would have been nice though for the full blue and white stripes.
Groundhopping Owl 3,638 Posted June 30, 2018 It's what I wanted from the shirt - stripes back and black shorts. Easily happy enough with having those back that I won't moan about the solid blue back, I'll likely buy it albeit I want to see it up close and make sure it's not back to Sondico-quality material. A bit odd to me Maybe it was felt that using players who'd contributed plenty so far under Luhukay's leadership was more appropriate, rather than using players who barely played last season. Nuhiu, João and Reach were among our best performers in the second half of last season. And Pelupessy, to take nothing away from him as a footballer, but, well, he's a handsome scamp, isn't he?
