So, let's get this right.

Some bored national sporting journo sitting In Holborn is short of soccer stories so out of 92 clubs here he decides to dream up a story about us.

He then spends hours researching our accounts and financial position to give a cover of credibility. Behave.

Or.... Doyen or another agent of ours call him and say, like Derby, we are skint and have FFP problems so we will flog best players.

All the Fire Sale rubbish is because of Villa. Basically 20 teams in the league are having a fire sale !!!

Unlike villa who are losing shed loads per day we are not in that bad of a state. Yes we have gone for it in the past 3 years and yes we have made some bad moves transfer wise (basically all transfers since Wembley with the exception of 1 or 2) but we are by no means over FFP we are close.

We need to move players out and we won’t be making signings of the Reach Abdi van Aken Rhodes or Fletcher (wages) degree this summer.

But as stated unless a big offer comes in for Fessi Bannan Etc, the players we’ll be looking to move are high earners who won’t be first 11 (Westwood, Fletcher, Rhodes) or the general not good enough brigade (Fox, Palmer, Jones).

Villa are in a way better financial state than us with wages to turnover ratio at 86% and player assets of at least £50 million.

In contrast, we are 126% and about £12 million worth of players.

Derby also looking to off load Vedra due to FFP.

You might want to see if that turnover ratio you talk about includes Villa's parachute payments - which dwindles again this season, and completely stops in 12 months time.

Also, they are losing £6m/month or £72m/year if you like. Who do you think they can sell to cover that? Compare that to our losses - selling Forestieri alone would cover ours for 12 months.

We also have most of our high earners entering the final 12 months of their contracts, so you would expect we have plenty of room for change next summer.

Might want to start looking a bit deeper into the facts rather than going with the headliner!

If Fred McIver is a Wednesday fan I'll saw off my ballsack.

Absolutely falling over himself time and time again to scaremonger and tell everyone we are skint.

Literally doesn't post about anything else.

You can’t be getting so many things so wrong so often by mistake. It’s a constant stream.

What you should do mate, instead of researching our finances via the Daily Mirror, is listen to the Wednesday Week podcasts on FFP and our accounts. Or read some of the links to articles that have been posted previously by people who know what they are talking about like our Danish friend Peter Lohmann.

If you then want to give us your opinions, they would be better informed and you would at least seem like you wanted to get the real issue rather than what seems like pure agitation.
