dewsburyowl58
So FF is keen to go ? Where do they get this info from ?
Southie_Owl
I think Joao is in the last year of his contract so he’s probably not as valuable as some might think, however Forestieri is worth at least £10m in today’s market and that’s me being pessimistic. If Afobe is worth £12m I would be looking for at least that if I was Chansiri. So yes double 7.5m for both is probably about right, not only 7.5m for both Edited June 10, 2018 by Southie_Owl
MaliceInBlunderland
£7.5 million for both? I think Billy Bull5h1t is definitely in da house.
Sergeant Tibbs
Joao offers something different, he's tricky with his feet, unselfish, links up well with the wide players. His injury record is better than most and I'd like us to keep him. Although 7.5 million might be hard to resist if we're in the FFP trouble that has been hinted. Much rather shift JR & SF. Birley Owl 1867
Joao I could understand, seen as his Portuguese. Personally, as much as I'd like him to stay, if we get an offer of that value then we may have to sacrifice for FFP reasons. FF I'm struggling though. marshy
Who on earth is this Nuno fella? Some random bloke sat in a Portugese pub with nowt better to do?
darra
That would be £7 million for Forestieri and £500k Joao or in the real world where Afobe is worth £12 milion the £7.5 million might just buy Joao.
Sonny
Would bite their hands off at 7.5m for Joao if he’s in his last year and wants to go home. No chance on FF at that price. It’s likely rubbish though init. I mean it’s just some guy on twitter.

Ever the pessimist
If we nurture Joao correctly I think he will turn into a brilliant, if enigmatic player. Of course, if he doesn’t want to stay then we need to sell him. In fact, give him game time to push for as big a move as possible.

Mr. Tom
Joao was 50% of Jos’s first-choice strike partnership for the last quarter of the season, can’t see him being let go without a decent fight to get him signed up again. But he’ll be looking - quite rightly - for (relatively) guaranteed football. Question is, is Jos in a position to offer that when he’s never really seen two of the competitors for Joao’s place, and two of our highest earners, play for us? The fact that we’ll struggle to move Fletcher on before his contract expires could end up deciding whether or not we get to keep Joao. I like Fletcher but I know which I’d rather hang on to if it was an either/or choice.
Moz_Wednesday
£7.5million isn’t even half a Forestieri. If Boro want £20million for Traore then we should want at least that for FF
