@owlstalk Posted June 2, 2018 Share Posted June 2, 2018 You may remember a few months back when we did a feature and a podcast/video about the MALTA OWLS Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Club. We did walk around the supporters club bar there on San Xmun in Bugibba and back then the place was a bit more wide reaching and all encompassing for other clubs. Well what's happened since is Stephen and Dawn have taken over the place completely now and transformed the whole bar, taking down all the shirts and flags and scarves of any other club, giving the place a total overhaul and most importantly a blue and white paint job. They also changed the name. (was previously called Scotch Corner) This means that the OWLS NEST is now open and ready for business! Malta Owls Sheffield Wednesday Supporters are now based here, meet here, and watch games here on the big screen. SO..... If you're in Malta (as I will be soon) then head to the following address for a beer with Stephen and Dawn and on matchdays you can watch the games live there. THE OWLS NEST San Xmun Bugibba (Search for it on Google Maps as I've created a place on there to guide you to it) Superb stuff and we're honoured to have played a small part in all this happening (and now being featured on the walls there) Also a big THANK YOU to everyone who sent over shirts, merch, flags etc - Stephen and Dawn are getting them all up on display. I'll film them when I head back over for an update video. Stephen's a member on here so may nip on to add more detail but the above are the basics for any Owls in Malta at any point! Found them this week and posted them out using the address in the previous thread.
