GazBricks
What would everyones starting 11 be on the first game of next season if everyone was fit plus you can add 1 player you'd like us to sign. Mine would be; Wildsmith Van Aken Lees Vennacio (The player i'd sign) Hunt Reach Pelupessy Bannan FF Hooper Nuhiu If i could sign another player it would probably be Ryan Kent on loan but i wouldn't play him at wing back
Moz_Wednesday
I’d go Westwood Hunt Lees Venancio (if he signs) Pudil Reach Bannan Hutchinson Lee Forestieri Hooper Its hard to say who Jos will favour though. Will he stick with the players like Nuhiu, Joao, Pelupessy etc that played consistently?

Spookone
You would think Hooper is the obvious choice and I really rate him but, it could be that Nuhiu and Joao are a paring which just works - they seemed to show a real understanding at the end of the season. gurujuan
I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess at what the starting eleven may be However, if we were to make 4 or 5 signings, then I’d expect them to mainly be starters No point in just bringing in back up players

Dutch McLovin
Going on the assumption that the one signing is Venancio I’d go: Dawson Venancio Lees Thornley Hunt Hutchinson (c) Bannan Reach Matias Joao Forestieri Obviously that depends on opponent, fitness and transfers. If it’s Stoke away I wouldn’t be lining up like that so let’s say it’s a home game.

gurujuan
It’s hard to envisage Hutchinson starting in a midfield two, his game is too limited In a three, yes sitting deep, I could see it, or as a centre back able to step into midfield when the game dictated it

I agree, but if we want to improve the starting eleven, there are a few key areas which will need an upgrade Getting better than what we have, will be difficult if we’re looking to buy, but we can definitely get better quality on loan Yes the players are likely to be young, and inexperienced, but they will be hungry, have pace and energy, and a skill level better than what we currently have now For example, you could imagine those attributes enhancing both our wing back berths Getting rid of last years mistakes , will definitely be much harder Edited May 22, 2018 by gurujuan
