RIP Hayley

Having lost our niece last year to cancer

I know how devastated the family will be, especially the young kids

Cancer really is a bar steward

Courageous, inspirational but most of all a beloved wife and Mum.

My heartfelt condolences to Andy, the children and all Hayley’s family and friends.

Yes it absolutely does.

Makes a football match is irrelevant and trivial.

Wish Cancer would just f*ck off and do one ...

Thoughts go out to her friends, family but most of all her husband and kids ..

Sad news

Terrible news. When you follow someones progress it's even tougher.

It's easy to forget her treatment was never a certainty to work but glad she at least got a chance to try it.

I'm sure the club will rally around Andy and the kids.

Forgive me for not knowing her backstory but I read up on it all last night and was honestly choking up. 30 years old ffs and diagnosed when she was 23 then. Not fair, not fair at all

Really sad news, was hoping there'd be some light at the end of the tunnel for the family and one of the treatments would help her. Strong lady, never stopped fighting.

Maybe the thread title can be changed so everyone knows (or a proper tribute thread started?).
