Peterborough have only listed him due to his ambitions to play at a higher level and a promise made by McAnthony last summer. He fits our new (and improved) transfer strategy, and would fit into the number of systems we have adopted towards the end of this season. Could play off either flank in a 3-4-3, play as a No. 10 in a 3-4-1-2 or play as a advanced playmaker in a 3-5-2. Or even if we revert to a 4-2-3-1, he could make up a very exciting front four of Forestieri-Maddison-Joao and Nuhiu leading the line. Ticks a lot of boxes. But under Jos he would probably add something similar to what Clare does. I doubt we could afford him though with the MacAnthony inflation. I don't know I think Bannan big short coming is for a central midfielder his goals to games ratio is embarrassing, yes he is a creative players but he needs to be scoring 1 in 5 or 6 not 1 in 20. If we had a midfielder who could create and also score goals and the only way to get that was to sell Bannan I would. But I understand what you are saying and what he bring to the team without goals.
