Would solve a recruitment issue if we have a ready made right wing back

Best not to get ahead of ourselves... there were some good and bad aspects today. But he put Palmer to shame IMO, considering Ash is about 6 years younger than Liam isn't he?

What a quality performance!! Some great tackles against some fast tricky wingers... well done lad! Can see him becoming first choice RB if he carries on like that!!

Could have forgiven him for being nervous, but he slotted right in like he was a first team regular.

Pleased for the lad.

Good league debut and he can be very pleased with himself, but it's far from obvious that he can make that spot his own.

It's a shame for a number of reasons that the season ends today because it would be good to see him get a run and see what he's about while there's not much to play for.

Seriously though, as someone who knows little about Baker ... Is he more of a RB, than a RWB?

Be interesting whether Jos sticks with a back 3

I've only ever seen him play CB!

He's more a defender than an attacker, but there's always room for improvement!

Fair play to the lad, apart from his first touch in the game he was solid throughoit. As good a debut i have seen in a long time.

Nice to see owlstalk keep up with tradition and make it's mind up about a player after one game.

This!!! He did well but made a few mistakes. But that’s part of learning the game. Was far better than Palmer.

Its a a joy to see these youngsters coming through.

Great debut.  He has a lot to learn going forward but was superb defensively.  Much better than Palmer on that showing.

Don't think he had a blinding game but, and this is the telling thing for me  - you couldn't tell it was his debut.    A good steady performance.

Some who watch the reserves - sorry, u23 team, may say otherwise but he did look like he suffers from the same issue Palmer and Hunt have with his crossing though.

Tell you what though, He's not out of his depth is he?   I could see one of Palmer or Hunt leaving to allow Baker a squad slot.

Did well, after that first touch, could have turned him into a bag of nerves...total miskick.....

but very solid after

Good defensively some great tackles and blocks, hopefully he takes Palmer's place in the squad next season and pushes Hunt a bit more.
