Grassy knoll
I still remember his finest game in my opinion,in the playoffs away at Brighton, booked early on and absolutely outstanding, good luck to him

OxonOwl
Yeah, me too. Especially when they are as likeable as Glenn and Ross ( I don't know how likeable Jake Kean is)

He was horrific in that Ipswich game and his service to Wednesday deserves a kinder finale.
Southie_Owl
Seems he’s not retiring then. i can see a Hibs or Aberdeen being interested in Glenn and Wallace, and they would still be decent performers in that league
oldishowl
For the last few years he has been key and had the ability to make other players around him play better. They seemed to feed off him and gain confidence. Always performed in big games. We will have a big hole if we don’t replace his leadership.
bigdan2003
Great servant to this club, and was part of a club record breaking defence. A great coupe by Jones/Gray. Wish we could've got him earlier in his career brilliant defender in his prime. Things haven't gone so well this season, but that's not his fault and his remained professional throughout.

Skiptonowl
A class act who should be remembered for the great service to the club forget about when things didn't go just right. No player plays for ever. A sensible decision by both parties. It will be good to see him on the bench on Sunday and given some time to play.

jambler
I can remember him driving past me near Towsure on Holme Lane and he smiled at me as his hair was blowing majestically in the wind. What a day that was. All the best Glenn. 3

If you watched Ashley Westwood and Guy Brandton play week in week out; you might forgive Loovens for the odd bad game.
swfcjack27
Classy from the skipper as always, came in at a difficult time and took on the responsibility of captain, clearly sets an example to the rest. As with Wallace top bit of business by the club to get him on a free. All the best Glenn!
