A similar player to buy should be xhaka. not the arsenal player but his brother. he might be expensive but it would be worth it.

I think we should be looking in league 1 there is a lot of Hutch type players in that division that could quite easily step up to the Championship, they are not the finished article but that is what a coach is for to take a player and make him better.

another waste of wage, lets get someone whose gonna be actually playing on half the wages rather than carrying playersbecause there decent people.

Wednesday fans are suckers for supporting players who offer little on the pitch but hey there nice

Would like to see Hutchinson as a central defender in a 3 man defence (3-5-2/3-4-3), along with Lees and Van Aken/Fred/Pudil, as I think a lot of his physical problems come from his tackling style when he's playing in midfield. When in defence, he's more disciplined and that will help him stay fitter.

Agree completely with the above. Also if Jos persists with the 3 central defenders formation we will need extra cover in this area. Hutch definitely needs to be utilised a little smarter to both give him more game time (avoiding injuries) and also to avoid the needless bookings. Lastly it’s not as if we’d be playing out of position as his natural position is CB anyway.

This season has shown what happens when you dismiss Hutch,s injuries. We need to manage this better next season and I would have him as our supersub.

Very difficult to build a team including a player who could breakdown 5 minutes into the game, so Iwouldnt plan to have him as first teamer next season.

Hutch seams like a great character and I think he could play a very important role for us coming off the bench. We all know he can perform the defensive midfield or central defender role but I feel due to his footballing brain, he could fill in in most positions, even supplementing the attack if needed.

when you have a utility player like this on the bench, it gives you more scope to have more specialist subs on the bench. Love to see us sign some raw talent with electric pace that you can bring on when needed. Like JJ not good enough to start but can be a game changer later on when players are tiring.

I'd look for cover as dm for joey and play hutch alongside Lees, less strain on the body, less silly cards and could play far more games a season at cb. He's a good leader and would probably for me be the best replacement as captain for Glen playing cb everyweek.
