roaminowl
No thread from Dunsby yet? Anyway, it was a memorable day in the roamin household. My youngest sister celebrated her birthday by getting engaged to my best mate. The party in the local pub was epic and made even more so when Mel Sterland came in, had a few drinks, chatted with a few of us and continued his evening elsewhere. Oh, that was also the day when Mel scored a penalty to help Wednesday beat Crystal Palace 1-0 and, more importantly, secure our promotion back to the top flight after a long absence (14 years?). Any other memories of that day?

The surge forward on the Kop when the penalty went in. Was scared a bit (I was it 12 after all.....) but still amazing.
