#SWFC MEMORABILIA
Have you got any signed Sheffield Wednesday items or memorabilia that you're really fond of?

What you got?

Black and white signed photos of Mick Lyons and Terry Curran , and an old Yellow silk scarf from the eighties signed by Howard Wilkinson.

93 cup final replay programme.

Signed by all the arsenal players, manager. among other folk like Pat Jennings, i think john Motson too,

Hate it though, had a ticket to the players banqueting party after the game but due to the nature of the defeat our team got straight on the bus for home!

If Bright hadnt have hit the post when t was easier to score, or Woods would have held on to the ball he threw into the net last minute  would have had a reyt party with Waddle Hirst etc.

I touched the cup but refused to hold it when Ian Wright offered me the chance while he was signing my programme!

I must have stood out like a sore thumb looking back, 19 years old, cup final flat cap and scarf on with my blue Owls flag tucked down my jacket but sticking out the top. not to mention a face like thunder... i bet my lip was quivering an all.

while surveying the celebration party left and right my abiding thought inside my head was ..... W a n ck ers

ive alway been a bad loser.

Nothing else matters ..

Nah it gets harder, im a disgrace.

the amount of times ive refused to shake my snooker opponents hand when hes nicked a lucky draw against me, or asked my father in law if hes SURE THE SCORECARDS RIGHT when we get to the back 9 and hes leading by one shot!!

now my 12 year old batters me on all the Wii games we play, mario kart etc, telling him well done thru gritted teeth, but not telling him i practised for 3 hours the night before when he went to bed. if he wasnt my son we'd have fell out by now.

thanks for trying to reason with me, but honestly, when it comes to sport you (along with many others down the years) are wasting your time. im an idiot.

We are not that far apart ...

I've stopped playing all sport many years ago  because of this very reason ..

It brings out the Bàstard in people

Golf .Snooker Ten Pin Bowling even computer sports ..

Knocked it all on the head it was my heroin..

Because I couldn't get any better it tortured me. I absolutely hated losing

Its in our DNA ..

You lose some you lose some....

Try jigsaws they are really therapeutic...

Dont do sport related jigsaws though ,

Not recommended. .......

My programme from the Wycombe promotion game signed by

- Majority of the squad on the first team page and some additional signatures from Antonio and Semedo.

- Howard Wilkinson and David Hirst on the back

Also keep my ticket from the Brentford away game the week before tucked inside it.
