MaliceInBlunderland
Taking 15yr old daughter to Wolves on Saturday, traveling by train from Sheffield via Brum. Any advice on places to go/avoid, names of any designated away pubs would be greatly appreciated. How safe is it for away fans compared to other clubs? Ta. sheffieldblue
There is a pub near the station , table table bar called the Bluebrick which is ok for away fans. The ground is only a shortish walk, and the bars between the station and the ground are usually packed, and home fans only. We tend to stay in Birmingham as long as possible, get the last train into Wolves. You would like to think their fans are all in a celebratory mood, but be careful near the subway as there is often a flashpoint there. Can be a bit territorial, but hopefully you should be OK with a 15 year old lass. Hope this helps. Enjoy the game

Olly1996
Is the Spoons in the town centre home fans only?
Ever the pessimist
As above - the subway (not an American sandwich franchise) near the ground can be a bit unpleasant. Think their idiots used to go by the name 'Subway Army' for a while such was the notoriety of the place.

Hi malice, I fully endorse what sheffieldbkue has said. Bluebrick pub bang on and vast majorit will be away fans drinking outside good atmosphere and a 10 minute or so walk to the ground. Plenty of owls so walk up with them from the pub. Don't you'll have any bother as it's a main road with police interspersed along the route
