New Sheffield Wednesday 150 years celebration painting

Recommended Posts

As a lifelong supporter of Sheffield Wednesday I have created a painting to celebrate the 150 years of the club.

A total of 65 players are included in the picture who have played a significant role in the history of the club, this has been produced as a photo litho print.

Please click on the link to see the picture and further detail on my website.

Fantastic painting Rolfey !

Ive got one now that I will have framed to take pride of place in our room.

Great to see all the memorable players from our 150 years, with trophies in the appropriate positions.

Some great shots of Sheridan at Wembley and Bullen at The Millenium Stadium.

The detail on the painting is first class.

Well done for applying all the time/effort this must have taken.

Mant thanks ,don't know if you know but that stand was transported over to Hillsborough when they first moved there, I think in the position of the South Stand. Before the south stand( designed by Archibald Leitch)was built in 1910 the majority of that stand still in existence today! Also you will see Sheffield Wednesday painted on the roof of the stand, although we were known as The Wednesday at the time.
