Next season

Recommended Posts

Well done boys. Now we can look forward once again to next season. He’s a few targets.

LB Josh Morris (Scunthorpe). Out of contract and can compete for LWB with Reach.

RB Moses Odubajo- he’s been out for a while but he’d be available and a great competition for hunt.

CB Bartley from Swansea. He’s not going to be playing.

CB/DMC Paddy McNair. (Sunderland). Good on the ball, good footballer, good size. Good age. Gives us quite some depth especially cover for hutch. They’re paying some huge wages for league one so he’s obviously available.

AMC - sammy amoebi - out of contract , athletic, quick, scores

That should balance our squad with a modest out lay. Anything else would be premier loans.

Might be more likely if we had a Brit Manager.......but I suspect we'll go Dutch/German when we start shopping !!

Everybody get watching Bundesliga 2.

Here’s my shout for fist signing. Felix Kroos. Younger brother of superstar brother Tony of Real Madrid.

Plays for second division Union Berlin after dropping down a league from Werder Bremen. Defensive midfield who is good on the ball and has good passing.

Him and Pelupessy could battle for the CDM spot and allow Hutch to revert to CB where he tends to get less cards, injuries and maintains fitness.

Maybe some real bargains to be had at Sunderland. Now while it might not look like it on paper. it's collectively they have been bad.  some of the individuals in a different team environment could be very good indeed.

Wages are horrendously bloated up there for the most part, and most of them contracted until at least end of next season. Moreover, they've been almost universally terrible too - not just for a blip, but consistently and reliably shocking performances. No stomach for the scrap at this level, let alone the one below.

I'd steer well clear, it's been absolutely toxic there for at least two seasons in a row and it's only getting worse. Player attitudes have been a big part of that if the fans are to be believed.

They do have alot of journeymen there, a few we had here that didn't exactly pull up trees. But the two they signed from United, Mcnair and Love is it, would both be good additions in a different winning team.  same happened with villa when they went down even good players just get caught up in the turmoils of the club and its hard for them to produce what they are capable of in such an atmosphere.
