Forget big mick

Recommended Posts

It was about this time last year when we missed an opportunity to go for Bruce before he went to Villa and Rowett before he went to Derby.

Not saying that I would love dingle Mick and that we should not give Jos a go with a full press season and squad. He has had a baptism of fire.

I think it’s also partly how he handles diva players- his no nonsense management style is great on getting the best out of kids/disciplined players, but harder to apply to the egos that come hand in hand with (even failing) Premiership players who think they’re God’s gift to the world. Can see him ruffling a few feathers, which wouldn’t be a bad thing in the short term at WBA tbf I guess.

Good manager though.

He’ll go to Leeds, get them up and we’ll finish middtable.

And people will continue to say he isn’t good enough to come here etc etc.

Apply same logic to Bruce or any other manager with a record of getting clubs out of this league.

its the Wednesday way.

I think he will end up at Leeds. Heckingbottom has been an awful appointment as expected.

We should throw the kitchen sink at this to get McCarthy in.

Put good money on Ipswich going down next season.
