He had better offers than Oldham after going to QPR on loan from Man Utd, but realised at that stage of his life he wanted to be near home. True story, honest guv!. Even now, we still see lots of posts lamenting his absence. It seems the longer he’s out, the better he was. All this, despite the fact that he isn’t from Oldham; he’s a bit lightweight; his touch isn’t that golden; he gets caught in possession too often; he can’t do anything; and he gives the ball away a lot with poor passes. What is it? Is it because he run around lot? Clearly not a Wednesday fan, just on here for the wind up Bit sad and obsessive really.

That one statement shows exactly why this current squad wont get promoted until we sign better midfielders.
Mr. Tom
The 'halo effect', in this context, would surely be where a player was being made to look good by playing alongside someone brilliant? Unless you mean that he has a few brilliant traits himself, and they make everyone think the rest of his game is better than it is. But I don't think anyone has ever seriously argued that he's an amazing striker or defender. KL's value is in his box-to-box energy and the fact that he'll pop up literally anywhere on the pitch over 95+min, often poking home a crucial goal just when you really need one by sheer virtue of being in the right place at the right time - which he often is, because he's EVERYWHERE. And that's simply not a figment of anyone's imagination. He's an incredibly busy footballer. 'Not normal', as CC put it. Fans criticise other players becasue they're the opposite. Like I said, radical.
Lord Snooty
Lee is one of those rare midfield players that makes runs beyond the strikers. Worth their weight in gold to any side.
