Who was your man of the match yesterday?

Recommended Posts

I thought the back 3 and Wildsmith looked competent for us

I was also impressed with both Fulham full backs and Ream at centre back

Less so with Cairney & Sessegnon - maybe I was expecting too much but on that performance alone, the prices being quoted for them seems highly exaggerated

I thought we made it far too easy for Cairney though. Gave him too much respect. He was on the ball a lot for them and we just seemed to let him have it.

Tom Lees for me. Wildsmith made some good saves but his distribution let him down. Message for Andy Rhodes please could you work on our keepers distribution.

Funnily enough, in the warm-ups his distribution is actually spot on. Its in the games when he is rushed or needs to kick quickly that lets him down.

Wildsmith outstanding. 9

8 Lees

7 Nuhiu Pudil Fred

6 Hunt Joao Boyd Reach

5 Joey Butters

Nando ineffective but clearly nowhere near fit yet. Bannan looked good but didn’t have his rangefinder switched on for thirds two awful long balls.

Joe was top notch. Well done.
