Looked a little leggy. Think he struggles with being the main creative force, especially centrally. Let's face it, the name of Reach doesn't invoke the same fear of the creative outlet as "Forestieri" or "Knockaert" or even "Sessegnon" does it? He should be playing the secondary role to that sort of player, the consistent more grafty sort of role (which to be fair, he largely is).

The sooner we can get someone like Forestieri into that more attacking midfield slot and put Reach somewhere where his engine can offer a little more, the better. Maybe having him on the bench for QPR to give him a bit more recovery time wouldn't be an awful idea either.

Just posted in other Reach thread that he’s also probably in need of a rest. Been either fullback or box to box all season and plays almost every minute for us.

Unfortunately we don’t really have personal available to rest players.

But now we’re safe I’d rather lose a few games and keep players safe rather than burning them out or pushing them too hard. Nothing left to play for like other years so best we take the opportunity.

If anyone thinks Reach is the type of player to be in the middle of the park, making tackles, producing incisive passes and scoring from in around the box they must have never seen him play.

That is literally not his strong point and he is a waste there, he seems to have been put there due to his stamina and nothing else. Hopefully in a full strength line up he is on the wing or serious questions need to be asked.

I’ve been saying it for months...PLAY HIM ON THE LEFT or not at all!!  It’s sooooo simple.  It’s not like there is a world class player playing there...it’s George Freaking Boyd!

We aren’t safe yet.  If Barnsley win their game in hand and only 7 behind. Need 4 more points.

he had a shocker ....

Unfortunately so. I am sure he didn't mean to but he did.

At times this season he has been our only redeeming feature but has looked off the pace in the last 3 games. Would rest him for Tuesday and then maybe try him at LWB against Hull...

If we continue to play 3-5-2, he has to play left wing back. He will be brilliant in this position and he will give us energy and attacking impetus from the left.

Whilst Bannan and Lee have injuries they are far better in the centre than Reach.

In all likelihood Reach will probably get our player of the season, more for the fact that he has played the most games and had a brief purple patch in the middle of the season.  He's not a bad player but I'd look at cashing him in while his value is still high.
