Several posters have already made the point but it's worth making again, especially from a critic of the player in question. Increasingly, footballers seem to think that they are distanced from ordinary people and don't really need to trouble themselves a great deal. He’s made his year not just day , the thing is it’s totally unexpected, a photo maybe, but half expected not to get a response and it was months ago, so a great surprise.
