Well what can I say,and that posted by a pillar of society, too many Cherry Brandies?

Take yourself to the outhouse, sit there and think on, come to your senses and get back into the flock of bell bottoms, and tank tops, thank me later.

PS, your not one of those crazy Rockers, are you?

Started off as a rebellion thing to annoy my father and violin teacher.

Then I found...I quite like it too!

I still find it amazing that the vast majority of people still think that music is only about the commercialised crap that is played by the atrocious radio stations.

I'm only guessing here, but I'd imagine less than 10% of the population are actually aware of what 'proper' music is.

Don't listen to the absolute meaningless dross they force feed you on the radio folks

^^^^^ this 100%. Wish l could up vote it twice.

Your father sounds like mine.

Were not related are we, had a one eyed uncle who worked down pit, named  Arnie, from Harley?

I quite like Richard Hawley, like a musical version of the Pete Mckee referencing a lot of Sheffield stuff. (Standing on coles corner, hollow meadows etc.)

Probably a bit too commercial for some tastes, I don't think I would have listened to him when I was young and a rebel.

Try Heart of Oak a very catchy little tune.

Sorry, not a teche, too old, was a band formed for Eurovision song contest (quality), in 1974 beat our Olivia Newton John who performed the classic Long Live Love

which came  fourth, (vote rigging) , staged in Brighton (nice), and all us kids were allowed to stay up and watch (great).

Hope this helps.

I’ve always listened to Radio 1 but aged 55 it’s really doing my head in now. Radio 2  is ok but still play really old MOR dribble. No DAB IN truck so can’t get 6 music but even that seems a bit elitist & up its own arse at times. I’m at the Radio station crossroads & don’t know where to turn.

That's the one. Fred the weather man is one of his backing singers.

Here ya go your Lordship, not totally representative of his work, but it's the nearest to what you might find bearable...

I'm only guessing here, but I imagine you mean the music YOU like is liked by less than 10% of the rest of us?

I personally insist on force feeding.

My father in law had one eye.  Least I think he did,  I never saw him personally. But when I was first married the mother in law was permanently on the phone to the wife saying she was being terrified again by the one eyed monster.

Yes you are guessing.

The stuff I like is so wide and varied I can't imagine even 1 % would share my likes.

It's ok to like boyzone, girls aloud etc if that's what anyone likes. I'm just saying that 90 % music is deeper more meaningful, and fulfilling, but is not really exposed by the radio and media, who prefer more bland commercial  stuff. My point was to go looking for  what I feel is better more intelligent music than what you are force fed
