You really aren’t getting it mate but I’m not going to argue with you about a team I have no affiliation to or really couldn’t care less about bar the fact we are playing them on saturday.

They are refusing to pay high ticket prices, nobody has said anything about a discount. They should pay them if they care about their club, they aren’t.

The end.

Don't want to get you into a panic or owt like that lancs. But we're not playing 'em on Saturday, we're playing 'em tomorrow :picnic:

crazy aint it .....they have more supporters per population than we do and get criticised for not turning out .

But as the below post has already established, PNE do turn out for away games.

This argument is incredibly daft. Preston are small club with decent away support, the reason for their poor attendance tomorrow is (rightly or wrongly) ticket prices. Just did a bit of googling.

They had 800 at Leeds at the start of the season. But for games local to us;

Over 2,000 at Barnsley

Over 3,000 at Sheffield United

Over 2,000 at Rotherham (last season)

Games further away

2,700 at Sunderland

Close games

7,000 at Blackburn (last season)

5,000 at Wigan (last season)

4,500 at Bolton (this season)

5,000 at Bolton (last season at cheaper prices)

Their turn out is very poor, but it is because of our stupidly priced tickets. They should bite the bullet and pay, those that can but they aren’t doing.

PNE selling 1200+POTG is surprisingly poor.  Even for a small club.

Its a Bank Holiday Friday, PNE are on a great run of form (18 points from last 10 league games and unbeaten in their last 11 away league games), they’re just 2 points outside the playoffs with 8 games to go and it’s only 1 and a half hours travel time.

I would have expected them to be bringing twice as many fans.

One on their forum, is a first class lobber. very educated and informed, obviously has the little club syndrome thats plagued other clubs of their size in recent years. Like Donny and Chesterfield

They are probably the most deluded club in the championship. They aren’t even the biggest club in their own city. Hope we smash them tomorrow and their players get injured again.

What a ***.

£15 for the grandstand or North.

no cash purchases on the grandstand or south turnstiles, so use the new little ticket office they’ve opened opposite the players entrance.

Thanks mate will do.

our season tickets are in south so I’ll go the office in car park

Thanks for your help

Hardly the correspondent, you were just being naive about the effect of ticket prices. As far as I’m aware , their away attendances are actually very good for a club of their size (around 12ish) with home support bottom four. Have a hardcore bunch who travel a lot but rarely get many at home. The poor attendance tomorrow is due to ticket prices.

Which is exactly what Chansiri wants so he'll be happy.

Just read that thread for a laugh, nice to see someone from Owlsonline trying to lick their ring piece like anyone should care about a small town in Lancashire.

Can’t wait to get out this league next season so we’ll never have to play the likes of Preston, Brentford and Barnsley for a long long time.

Preston fans were embarrassing, came in low numbers to a quality ground and were quite all game.

Probably the most tinpot club ik the league and yes that includes Burton and Barnsley.

Only chant I heard from them was.... We are End we are End, they need Bell adding to chant.

Took the lucky charm (daughter) over today. Her 10th game and never seen us lose!

We’ve had a personally traumatic week so thank you SWFC for bringing a few hours of smiles

What a finish from Dave! “ gi messi his left foot back”!
