Had a hip replacement mate, still using a crutch, hoping I'll be allowed in with it

I'm only sitting in a high chair at home, the seats on the North are pretty low

I'll worry about that if I get let in

A crutch is still a great support hootie.

:tango: WTF!?  Why do I bother?

Don't start!

So within one hour of us we have..Man Utd Man City forest Notts county derby chesterfield Leeds rovrum Barnsley Doncaster Scunthorpe Lincoln ..do Preston really have more clubs than us within one hour?? Add Leicester to that list ..easily doable in an hour from the southern outskirts of Sheffield..junction 31 etc

It's about the same ..

Not disputing this

I'm trying to give the tight àrses an excuse for not turning up..

and you know how many grounds are in that area you've probably been to them all? They are a poor supported club IMO

Regardless of population statistics etc

They don't go to games but bang on about them all week.

As for cost they don't pay anywhere near the most expensive Prices in our league

This argument is incredibly daft. Preston are small club with decent away support, the reason for their poor attendance tomorrow is (rightly or wrongly) ticket prices. Just did a bit of googling.

They had 800 at Leeds at the start of the season. But for games local to us;

Over 2,000 at Barnsley

Over 3,000 at Sheffield United

Over 2,000 at Rotherham (last season)

Games further away

2,700 at Sunderland

Close games

7,000 at Blackburn (last season)

5,000 at Wigan (last season)

4,500 at Bolton (this season)

5,000 at Bolton (last season at cheaper prices)

Their turn out is very poor, but it is because of our stupidly priced tickets. They should bite the bullet and pay, those that can but they aren’t doing.

Haha.... no I just don’t understand why people are comparing us, a team in a massive city with a huge home support. To a side with bottom 5 home support. Compare their attendances to Millwall, Brentford, Bristol City, Barnsley etc.

You don't do many away games watching Wednesday then yes /No?

Because if you do you are paying on average what Preston are paying to come to Hillsborough tomorrow...

Why should they be the exception ?

The so called Preston Support don't earn any more or less than Sheffielders do so why should they get it cheaper ...

As I said tight as a nuns chuff up North West if it was a Tenner they still wouldn't come because they don't do " Thwaites on tap" or some other excuse price of ticket is no excuse we are all paying through the nose to watch football

As I said, they should bite the bullet, I’m not saying they are right I’m just saying that’s the reason why. I don’t agree with it. This season I’ve been to;

Preston ( ironically)

Ipswich

Millwall

Barnsley

Boro

Leeds

Blunts

Brentford

So id say I go on fairly regularly away and as evidenced by the Leeds (among others)  game- I am willing to bite the bullet because I enjoy watching Wednesday and that’s the price I’m willing to pay.

Leeds was was the first away win I’ve seen this season !

So you've paid in  and above 33 quid for those games.

There's no Bullet Biting needed here ..

Going on social media complaining about a club charging the going rate for away fans is not substantiated. .

We are not a charity as everyone on here knows ..

If you can't afford it thats not nice

But tell your hard core Preston  boys don't complain that you arent getting discounted tickets from a rival club when the rest of the country is paying the going rate to travel away to watch their team

One on their forum, is a first class lobber. very educated and informed, obviously has the little club syndrome thats plagued other clubs of their size in recent years. Like Donny and Chesterfield

They are probably the most deluded club in the championship. They aren’t even the biggest club in their own city. Hope we smash them tomorrow and their players get injured again.

You really aren’t getting it mate but I’m not going to argue with you about a team I have no affiliation to or really couldn’t care less about bar the fact we are playing them on saturday.

They are refusing to pay high ticket prices, nobody has said anything about a discount. They should pay them if they care about their club, they aren’t.

The end.
