@owlstalk

Is everyone excited about Tim Robinson coming back to Hillsborough?

In his 40 games so far this season, Tim has issued 129 cautions and 11 red cards, but it yet to officiate a Sheffield Wednesday game in those matches.

In this four games with Preston this season they've won three and drawn once

I'm almost as excited as when I see a new  @OWLSTALK thread but not quite as that would be insane.

He was alright last time - disallowed a Rotherham goal for virtually nothing and gave us an injury time penalty.

It's almost as if he felt guilty about something...

He comes armed with his belief 'Fessi is a diver', maybe he did review his inept performance having sent us out of kilter which has possibly cost us more than we can imagine !

No matter what he does he cannot atone for that decision at Hull. It really was one of the worst decisions ever. Neutrals everywhere agreed. Even dawson and Bruce knew and admitted it was wrong.

This myth about FF being a diver is just that, a myth.  99% of the time he battles away, staying on his feet even while being fouled. Not saying he's never dived but he's more sinned against than sinning. Same goes for ATdhe.

I don't think I can ever get over that decision up at Hull. Over two years on it still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. It's true he possibly atoned slightly with his display against Rotherham last year but I don't think he'll ever had anything other than the reputation as "the guy who sent Fessi off wrongly".

Look on the bright side............... we stand a good chance of getting a penalty.

I remember Robbie Fowler describing it as being up there with one of the worst decisions he’s ever seen on a football pitch.

Considering Dawson held his hands up to apologies to the ref but he ignored the apology and sent Fessi off anyway, it’s hard to disagree.

That’s what was hard to stomach for me. He wasn’t watching what was going on around him, he was just intent on sending FF off

Truly disgraceful refereeing

Don't really want to play devils advocate here as I still haven't forgiven him for the forestieri hull thing but didn't he also give us that last minute pen against toytown last season?
