£134 about 4 games with Chansiri at cheapest prices.

Not with a season ticket though

average wage in 1981 was circa 7k so a season at 50 quid is if my math is right (doubtful) around 0.8%

average wage 2017 was circa 27k so my season ticket at 550 quid ......is around a tad over 2% ............sadly my pension is a lot nearer 81 levels than 2017 .

I agree with your maths.

It is expensive at the moment. Had they delivered arguably a bargain. Given the season we have had, a waste of money.

Cost of entertainment/sports tickets in general has gone through the roof

Weekend ticket for Reading Festival in 1981, for example, was £14.50 - equivalent of £53 today.

This year they are £205 (+£16 booking fee, which is another modern rip off)

So we were paying more than half the top tier teams prices back then too . Least were consistent :luhukay:

Plus in 81 I was still at school so paying more for a ticket than I earned so in comparison they are dirt cheap now :duntmatter:
