@owlstalk
One player we keep mentioning on Owlstalk is Preslav Borukov. The main reason for that is his relentless smashing in of goals for Sheffield Wednesday's younger sides and he scored yet again in the 2-1 win over Coventry City He's a big lad who joined Wednesday from PFC Levski Sofia and to date is showing exactly why Sheffield Wednesday have brought him over to play for our club. Like George Hirst he's banging goals in against any team put in front of him, and yet Borukov is still only 17 years old. The always excellent George Smith has a chat with U23's boss Neil Thompson about the potential of this exciting striker https://georgesmithfootball.wordpress.com/2018/03/27/thompson-remains-grounded-on-possibility-of-loaning-out-owls-youngster-next-season/ Owlstalk Shop
mozzy85
makes me very happy to see youth prospects being talked about. I'd love to get Clare and Hirst signed up to, but if they don't then it means others will get the opportunity like this lad. Just great to see and hope he keeps smashing the goals in. 1

GibKev
We just need a manager who can ease them in bit by bit with no pressure or blame if things goes wrong And lots of love and backing from the fans when times are tough* *roll on next season
MrTacoSWFC
I don't like the bit where he says.. "hopefully he will be with us next season". Other clubs already looking at him?

KivoOwl
I like him a lot but he's nowhere near as prolific as George Hirst.

Different type of player, more of a target man from what I’ve seen. Good prospect tho I think especially for his age with the size of him too... what’s he like for pace Kivo I’ve not really been able to tell ? prowl
Like a lot of young players it's hard to tell if he will be a superstar or just fade away. All we can do is support him and keep our fingers crossed. The main problem is having any decent prospects heads turned by Premiership teams. Hitcat
Looking at the photos, his ability to fly adds a whole new dimension to his game. He can go to the very top.
Buxtongent
If the lad is showing sufficient promise, as this lad appears to be, forget about sending him out on loan, keep him in the U23's and get the occasional run on the bench or even brought on as substitute. But more importantly GET HIM TO SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE. If he goes on loan, he will either a) not get regular football , or b) be a star for someone else. Then the trouble starts. But you can't hide him away like a collectors piece and hope he gains value. He needs to go out on loan to get experience, and he'll only get this by playing professional games not reserve games.
