Best Wednesday 11 from your time watching em.

Reyt, found it.

No, not changing my mind.

Sterland in front of Nilsson for me thank you. Roly was a very talented footballer, but I preferred the, erm, “robustness” of Sterland, his ability to put opponents over the wall, into the stand, and his ability to add a goal threat, and terrorise defences with his forays down the line.

Give me the effectiveness of wham, bam, thank you mam, over pretty, pretty, neat and tidy, anytime. lol

Can I go back to sleep now? ;0)

i imagine Walker, Waddle, Palmer, Sheridan and Hirst would get in everyone’s team, the other positions are all up for debate.

Understandable....choosing Sterland instead of Nilsson isn't though!

Nilsson is the one player we've had who would stand a very good chance of getting in a best ever top flight team, never mind a Wednesday XI

I agree on Nilsson  As much as I like Mel, Nilsson was a class above.

 3 - 5 - 2 formation

                    Pressman

       Thome - Lyons - Pearson

Nilson                                 Worthington

          Waddle - Shez - Palmer

            Di Canio  - Hirst

Subs - Turner - Bannister - Curren - Sterland - King - Francis - Carbone

Playing a 3-5-2 puts a slightly different spin on it.  I'd go with

                        Pressman

      Anderson    Pearson    Walker

Nilsson                                       Worthington

                Palmer      Seridan

                        Waddle

            Di Canio           Hirst

Spurr

Antonio

Lee

Hutch

Subs: Lee Grant, Danny Batth, Glenn Whelan, Jermaine Johnson, Gary Hooper

Wrote this in about 5 minutes so there's most likely some good players I've left out.
