OWL1969
My very first football hero as a 9 year old, remember my cousin getting me a TC poster, which stayed in my bedroom for a few years before being angrily torn down. Seen better players since, but due to the ageing process no one got close to the Hero Worship I had for this man. Now I have forgiven him I still love him today (Awaiting sexuality comments) :-) That goal at Bramall Lane and that celebration in front of em at Hillsborough!! Paddyowl
He was half way through his time at Hillsborough when I started following the Owls, one of my favorite every Wednesday players, a total maverick and a bloody great player. Happy Birthday TC !

A true star, and not just for the highlights against the great unwashed. In the promotion season, he was a class above anyone else in that division and at times was unplayable. At the start of the season we came 4th (the game at Luton being a case in point), he was electric. IIRC, we were singing 'Curran for England' at the Luton match and the commentator said that it was a slight on a very good player.....England having been abysmal in a defeat the previous week to the might of Norway! Re the crowd trouble alluded to, it was very naughty outside, probably the worst I witnessed with our coaches taking a pelting.
MaliceInBlunderland
Legend. 1981/82 TC & Bannister in the same side. Anyone got a time machine to transport them to the present day? *Wtf are Luton wearing in that first clip btw. Truly horrendous shirt.

Buckwheat
Totally went off him when he jumped ship and joined the Blunts. In my eyes this is a cardinal sin of the first magnitude. He was booed non stop by the Blunts and quickly got out. Still he did give us some great times.
torryowl
for a couple of years there wernt many better than him in the country ....thought in his last season he dropped his standards and wasn't to disappointed when he went over to blunts . upperwinngardensowl
The only player who's pic went up on my wall as a teenager....in fact the only person ever. And I bought his classic single with that lyrically brilliant B side.

Inspector Lestrade
Fantastic player, one to get you out of your seat. He loved to play to the crowd and knew how to get the rise out of the opposition. Would have been crucified on OT much like FF.
