Really? My opinion is that fans do player ratings based on players reputations.  He missed an absolute sitter and his set pieces were mostly poor. He also gave the ball away ridiculously in our area which should have cost us. If Loovens or Palmer had done that they would have been booed but because it was Reach, nobody mentions it. I think you are right though,  a 5 is probably harsh. He did get in good positions and his passing was generally fine. It was his assist with a very good header for the first goal, too. Maybe a 6 or 6.5 is fairer?
