Mr. Tom
58 minutes ago, Watson said: Can you demonstrate he even existed? Claims without evidence are merely that, claims. We can believe whatever we wish but it doesn't make them true. Scientifically speaking, there's just as much - if not more - onus on us non-believers to disprove religion, isn't there? By definition, you don't have to prove anything for something to be a possibility - which is what many believers would say they're backing - but something being an impossibility is an absolute state, and would require hard evidence to be classified as such.

Depends what school of ethics you adhere to. Did you live the best life for you? For others? For those most vulnerable, most dependent on you, or for the greatest number of people regardless of their standing? For future generations? For science? For art? For experience? For the law? (My degree was in philosophy and I majored in ethics, so I could properly nerd out on this! ) Edited March 13, 2018 by Mr. Tom
Bing Cosby
The fact that our world is still so heavily organised around religion is enough for me, they could at least leave it out for 90 minutes on a Saturday (or a Sunday, God forbid)
