So what? Look at what their fans have had/are getting as a result Bet their fans are happier than ours right now And I bet they're snapping up the kits at that price Especially after watching Jamie Vardy's wondergoal yesterday Pretty sure he used to play for us as a kid? Just saying they can afford to sell the shirt at discount and will probably be changing in the summer. Goood luck to them. Chansiri wouldnt be doing it anytime soon as he still had last seasons shirt at full price after the season ended.

Yes it is - it's a positive marketing and sales message coming from Leicester that we could replicate before unveiling the return of stripes and a pre-order for the new kit Owlstalk Shop

Ian_D
Quite a nice design, I don't mean the colour or lack of stripes or badge or writing, just the shirt design. Great price but cannot compare with ours because the two clubs are in a different financial position

In reality the smaller the club and the more you need the cash the more realistically priced your shirts should be Factor in also the area/amount of disposable income in the area too Owlstalk Shop

That's got to be in contention for goal of the season. He instinctively knew where the goal was without looking. Ian_D
If your team is in the prem and getting the bucket loads of cash from us all via skysports then they could almost give the shirts away with a ST .
scram
Leicester can price their shirts at 12 quid and sell loads while raising revenue We can keep ours at 50 quid and sell none - then throw them away Along with potential cash inflow

However, I am sure the hundreds of millions they get just for being in the PL makes this sort of revenue stream a drop in the ocean for them, never mind the extra money they have recently earned from being Champions and playing in the Champions League. Whatever it takes involves staying within the rules of P&S. The fact that we will suffer an embargo next season suggests that our owner is paying out much more than we are bringing in. Saying that, if we have a stock of shirts that have no return value, it makes absolutely no sense not lowering the price. Who is seriously considering paying full price for a replica shirt from mid-Match onwards when it will be past its relevant sell-by date by the first week in March?
