No idea whether the article will be in the Post or not. But the above isnt correct.

£2.1m of our contingent liabilities are due to former directors on promotion. The other money is loyalty bonuses, as confirmed by finance expert here

There will probably be 32 days in May before we are promoted.

No people are actually thinking this article is fact, we don't know it is.

It's ok to discuss it, have a meltdown if it exists. Crack on with that.

Have you heard the call?

It's literally just a throwaway comment

Seriously cannot understand why this thread even went over one or two replies

Players are injured and they have also been unfit this season, I think it’s fair to say they have gone hand in hand and we will hopefully see a different scenario next season when we have a manager who will prepare us better fitness wise

There seems to be a genuine fear and panic, that there is some truth to the persistent rumours that certain players have not been playing in order to avoid triggering loyalty bonus payments.

Not sure why if there is no foundation at all.

Not even sure where the rumours originated from.

No idea why Hutch says he's fit.

No idea why Westy has been called up by Ireland.

No idea what's wrong with Hooper.

No idea why someone would predict a YP story on Monday.

Everything is fine.

Yup heard it on the way home from work. I laughed.

Come on here and it has created a chuffing meltdown. Crackers.

I know, now we have people saying why would he mention the Yorkshire post.

Yes because that makes it a more viable, it got to be true. Eh?

Look if it's real, then yes, go nuts.

Maybe

Maybe not

We'll find out Monday I guess

Tbh with these two threads I'm starting not to care either way.

The reasons being banded about. Over this being true, based on a throw away comment made on a no mark radio show. Are staggering.

Look its quite clear everything isn't fine. We can all see that. However the responses to a throw away comment on football heaven. Are crazy.

Why wouldn’t we have off loaded these players on loan or a full transfer during the transfer window if we didn’t want to give them appearance related bonuses?

Why would you leave if your due a big payment?

Because agents aren't stupid and would have insisted contract clauses are binding in the circumstances of a player being sold?

I've listened to it a couple of times, he's an emotional lad but Wednesday can do that to people. I don't think he's mental but it did sound like he was just repeating what someone had told him at the match.

It'll all come out in the wash tomorrow.

If there was even a glimmer of truth in this then the steering group meeting yesterday was the perfect opportunity for the club to get in front of the story, that didn't happen. I don't see how a club, especially one run as ours has been could even hope to keep a lid on something like this. Likewise, I believe the players and especially their agents would be more vocal about it.

I know people say there's no smoke without fire, sometimes true but more often not. However even if we assume that to be the case here, couldn't the sauce of this be the fact that amongst the injured there are individuals we no longer want and are avoiding payouts for one thing or another, there is nothing untoward about that.

I personally choose not to believe the stories until I'm presented with facts to the contrary and I tell myself that if we could not make a cake, we can't pull off the football equivalent of the moon landings.....they were a hoax, right? lol

I don’t really believe (or want to believe) this conspiracy, but I enquired about my daughter being mascot for Westwood when he was only supposed to be out for a few weeks and was told that we might need to choose someone else as “what if he is out for the season”

Westwood won't play for us again this season.

Handed in a transfer request just after CC left and was told he wouldn't play for us again by you know who.
