A proper Sheffield Wednesday shirt...

Recommended Posts

EXACTLY right Neil.

Thats how you do a retro-looking Wednesday shirt for an anniversary season.

Just remake that damn kit, exactly the same (but modern material obviously).

No sponsor, no stupid slogans or anything.

Its so simple and would be the envy of the football league.

But no, we change to an awful badge, lose our stripes and have a shocking kit which turns up 6 months later than it should.

Not for me. The stripes were too broad.

This, for me, is simply the best Wednesday shirt (and kit) ever......

Made me good all funny that has, a warm glow, if  ever the fans needed a lift DC could walk out at 2-55 tomorrow  and announce we are going back to stripes next season , job done Hillsborough rocking Three points certain

I think this was after our 5th game in 3rd round of FA Cup v Arsenal at Filbert Street.

From left to right David Grant, Jeff Johnson, Brian Hornsby, John Lowey.
