said the same before the Derby game and look what happened , id be quite happy to grind out 6 draws if that keeps us up , but beleive we have enough to replicate that Derby performance at least a couple of times in the next ten games

I don’t disagree, if the players perform like they can we should have more than enough

Anything like the previous 3 games and .......

I cant see us beating anyone if we lose on Saturday

Not even Sunderland?

I think the derby with Leeds comes at a good time. That's a very different game and could pull us out of the current mentality that the players have. Derby's are always winnable, and Leeds for is pretty lacklustre too (1 win, 7 losses in the last 12). So for me that's very winnable.

Preston we probably lose.

Sunderland we should win.

Fulham, loss.

QPR is tight. hope for a draw.

Hull's home form points to a draw.

Reading is winnable, but probably a draw.

Wolves and Norwich, i don't expect much,if anything.

Gives us 7-11 points which see's us safe.

If we were top of the league by 20 points we’d lose to Sunderland!! It’s what Wednesday do - it’s probably the only thing we are good at - getting teams out of a terrible run.

I think Bolton is the real chance for 3 points - hope the results go our way and then hang on for dear life til the end of the season!!!

Squeeky bum cream at the ready

                            Wildsmith

                   Fred     Lees    Pudil

      Baker                                           Boyd

                  Clare   Pelupessy   Reach

                        Nuhiu    Joao

Given how Baker apparently played really well on the right back today, give him a run over Palmer who's just turned in a dismal performance v Ipswich... I don't want Fox or Loovens anywhere near the bench; time to let Nielsen, Jones, Abdi, Dawson, Rhodes and Preston be on there.

As long as we don't see the names Butterfield and Jones on the team sheet next to each other I don't care who he picks.

They can play a half each if that's how Jos wants to role at the weekend.

But never on the same pitch together again.

lol

I’d take the risk on Bannan. I said weeks ago are we protecting players to play them in league one?

Dawson

Hunt Venancio Lees Pudil

Pelupessy Hutchinson Clare

Reach

Nuhiu Joao

Tactics, basically just bypass the middle, boot it up to the front two and hope for the best. Long ball, up and under, 80s-style.

We need to scrape 3 wins from somewhere to be safe.

If we do that then you are asking one of the bottom three to win probably 6 of their last 10 or in Burton’s case 11 games. That is a big ask.

Actually if that's the tactic:

                       DAWSON

Hunt Venancio Nielsen Lees Thorniley Pudil

                       Hutchinson

                          Reach

                     Nuhiu Joao

i'd go

dawson

hunt ..if he aint fit i'd switch boyd to the right put pudil or fred  in the middle and fox to the left

lees

fox

hutch ....he says he's fit so no point protecting him as we know he'll break down again sooner or later so use while we can

boyd

jones

reach

clare

abdi ...... I'd be telling him to do what he wants  and influence the fecking game like he did at Watford

I’d probably have chosen this line up too.

can’t believe people are keeping Palmer in the side after his Ipswich showing

If Baker is good enough put him in, otherwise play Clare there and put Abdi in the starting line up. Or don’t have Abdi in the squad if he’s not fit to play

I usually wouldn’t want Nuhiu in the starting line up either but needs must now

                             Dawson

                   Fred     Lees    Pudil

  Palmer                                            Boyd

Assuming Hunt is injured then,

Dawson

Venancio

Lees

Pudil

Baker

Pelupessy

Clare

Abdi

Reach

Joao

Nuhiu

SUBS

Wildsmith

Van Aken

Hutchinson

Jones

Boyd

Rhodes

Preston

Ideally would like Hirst involved but the main thing is please,PLEASE set up 3-5-2......not 5-3-2   with the wing backs attacking at every opportunity.
