RobbieOwler
It seems like this is what we need, what most teams need to revitalise a squad very low on confidence. It's been unavoidable not to hear about the current media darling of Carlos Carvalhal soaking up all the praise for his work at Swansea. We're always hearing about his 'infectious enthusiasm' and the 'positive outlook' he has brought to the club. They love his daft metaphors and you got to admit Carlos looks 10 years younger then what he did a few months ago when he was our manager. Here he went full Mourinho on us, charming and all that and then turned into a sulking pansy. Obviously a great coach, obviously not so great at vetoing transfers. So why didn't we go down the same route again? Someone to start the engine back up with the use of enthusiasm and positivity? Instead of a deadpan Grandmaster Glitch character? I doubt he's the sort of manager to put his arms round a player and inspire the team to perform. Hopefully we're already looking for a replacement for the summer. We need a charmer or a no nonsense type (by this I mean a Yorkshireman).

Watto
Sadly he just doesn't look like a motivator whatsoever and along with Dave Jones, Alan Irvine and David Pleat ( any others are welcome)he has to be the dullest character we've ever had the misfortune to manage our club He just doesn't seem to fit as a Sheffield Wednesday manager

@owlstalk
Well... Here's my theory (bear me out here - it'll make sense) You know how babies are born and cry for their food right? And then they grow a bit and still cry for their food? And then they grow some more and start to talk Then they grow into mature adults and converse at length using complex language? Your cat is born and meows for food - you feed it It grows - it meows - you feed it It grows older - meows - you feed it Then it's really mature - and has to act all babyish just to get fed Inside it's head is it thinking - FFS I have to act like a baby and use baby language to get fed. This is ridiculous? A grown mature cat is basically doing an impression of a baby to get fed HAEV YOU THOUGHT AHOUT THAT? WELL?? HAVE YOU? So forget about all the popular choices and who would do a good job, him and the CEO bird will make sure between them it'll be another nobody from somewhere like Belgium/Holland ! WalthamOwl
Whatever happens between now and the end of the season I hope we have a new manager for next season and I hope it’s not some obscure foreign manager that has no experience of the English game. We need a motivator, someone that can fire the players us, Jos doesn’t seem like he is that type of person.
