What was your first Sheffield Wednesday post on Owlstalk

Recommended Posts

had to look up my first post, was surprised i joined in 2012,didn`t think it was that far back.remember joining cos there was a few threads that were hilarious, one about drawing a picture of how you felt about the blunts (something along those lines) was a good one at the time i think.

First post was an introduction type of thing

Also mentioned the time it had taken for my 'membership' to be granted

Clearly had to go through some fairly stringent checks

MI5 maybe

Or the Royal Horticultural Society - active Preservation Orders, history of Dutch Elm Disease, stuff like that

My first ever Owlstalk post was a touching and heartfelt thank you to the forum for being so bloody entertaining during all my years as a lurker.

Within a matter of minutes, 'council owl' had replied with the customary 'Foook you', some charmer called 'Blunkett Hound' who signed up around the same time as me had referred to my post as 'gay', and @Ash-Williams and @Saxondale had decided I was the second coming of some old poster called 'disco pants' (For the record, I'm still not!).

:duntmatter:

lol
