Hire car in thick fog mid week springs to mind as me and a scouser let off early to drive to Liverpool for us v everton. Travel wise missed out on a six month Canada deployment az was on a course in Chatam. Girls there kind of made up for it. We were engineering support for RAF Bruggen in Germany so had to do 3 months out there. Saw Monchengladbach(sp) v Hamburg. Stood on away end with a few other squadies. We Hamburg lost think it was 7-2 Did a rapid re-deployment to Falklands. RAF Tornado escort in was amazing. Flying upside down holding up a sign show us your bum. They must have been so bored prior to our arrival. I made news at ten, everyone walking from plane arms in hand.
