Promotion we don't have to worry about, but if any of those loyalty clauses triggered over the course of this season then the accounts could get worse Don’t be silly. They are all injured... Meaning we're well within those figures. £39 million over a 3 year period. So over the the last 2 years we've made a loss of £30.5 million meaning that any loss greater than £8.5 million for this season & it's embargo time. The first two are on huge wages, and there's Rhodes and Van Aken's transfer fees to pay as well. Without selling 1 or 2 big earners for big bucks there's no way we'll keep within the £39m over 3 years limit. Three of which will be reported on in next years returns. Westfield Owl
Huge losses, surely on the verge of breaking FFP rules, expensive signings that gambled on promotion, and in the majority of cases, the players we have recruited in the last three years don’t have much re-sale value. We have a relegation battle to fight with half of our squad, and the majority of our first choice XI unavailable for the foreseeable future. It looks like, going forward, we could be in deep trouble. The club is being ran appallingly IMO.
vulva
Isn’t the value of a player divided by the length of the contract, hence the low squad valuation ?
alanharper
So basically all we have to do is throw zillions at getting promoted next season, so that we can become established in the Premier League and then do a Leicester and pay a miniscule fraction of our income in a few years time to make any FFP trouble go away.
