He's inherited one mess of a club

I'll judge him next season after he's brought his own players in, and he's given them a full pre season

I don't give a flap about Sunderland, Swansea, Man City, or Wigan

Absolutely this.

The mess we have of injuries is staggering. It is genuinely our reserves and youth team. We are missing our first choice goalkeeper, first choice CBS, first choice CMs, first choice STs, plus more. Add to that the mess of recruitment we’ve had for the last year or so, how can you blame a guy that’s been here all of 2 mins. We don’t have any wingers FFS.

Jos has come in and steadied, and has pedigree at bigger clubs than us.

This steadying thing I keep hearing about Joss? 7 points from bottom 3 that's not steadying any ship , that ship is in danger of hitting the rocks

How many goals were we throwing away when Carlos was here? I think Jos has as many clean sheets as Carlos so far this season.

This is a genuine question, what do you expect with all of the players we have out?

It’s not going to be pretty until the end of the season, but we can hardly expect to be battering teams when we have given debuts to 3 or so youth team players within the last month.

It dont expect much with what he's got to play with tbh but I would expect him to keep us up regardless of the injury situation. He will have had half a season by the end of it and even our 2nd raters should be better than the bottom 3 !

No it's not.

But I appreciate we are down to the bare bones squad wise, so I do think there has to be a little leeway given.

He is getting some leeway, otherwise i would be on a flight home with my shoes off ready to storm the car park!!

No fight

Yet we kept a premier league team quiet for 145 minutes

Using our reserves

Yes those same reserves that have loads of experience and a total cost of a lot of championship teams cope with?

If you think we put up a good fight that's your opinion , I didn't

Hopefully he can, think there are three worse teams than us, but we can’t go out and be gung-ho. It’s going to have to be a grind and attritional.

Fingers crossed Nuhiu can find his shooting boots again!

15 players unavailable due to injuries

3 players cup tied

Playing a team from a higher division

We did better than I thought we would

My heart wanted a cup run. My head says we're better out of it.

I make it 11 injured 3 cup tied

Swansea in bottom 3 ( half their team missing )

'Useless' Carlos in charge

We were EASILY beaten second half

Half their team missing.. From the start of the second half, when it was still 0-0, on the pitch they had Mawson, Naughton and Fabianski missing from the team that played their previous premier league match.

Actually if you look at the team another way , we actually had 4/5 regulars in there last night from last season

Hunt

Pudil

Loovens

Reach

Jones

We should have strengthened in transfer window with a couple of loans it's that simple and we didn't !

Couldn't agree more.

Do people really think we would get past Spurs anyway. Be realistic.

Don't need more unwanted games that could throw up more injuries, Hunt last night for example.

We need to concentrate on the league with the ever depleting squad we have.

On Jos, really too early to tell as he's not had the players available to really see his tactics etc.

If he goes or not, I'm positive next season will be different to this nightmare one.

Relegation is not in the equation.
