NorfolkNChance
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39578985 GLT is in use across the championship. Be a brave ref to not give a goal if the technology says its in.

Did look very close from my position in the Grandstand. BTW Terry was offside for the first goal. TV doesn't show it but he was goal side of our defender from before the free kick was taken all the way to heading the ball. Definately offside! alanharper
They should show the replay on the big screen with the graphic showing where the ball was, they do it when it's a televised game. If it's literally just the technology wired up to the ref with no third party involved, it's open to abuse by a bent referee - which I am most certainly accusing Swarbrick of being. 1

Guest mkowl
We are told there is goal line technology but out of interest where are the cameras. Anyone seen them at Hillsborough level with the goal lines ?

mark77
Technology is shown on the extended highlights on you tube. Only half the ball was over the line, so close!! I think the pictures in this thread are misleading as the ball is in the air, not on the ground.

Plus the angle of that still will always show a gap between the ball and goal-line. The view from directly above will be completely different and therefore this is not a simple yes or no. Rebowl Yell
Like 95% of football fans I live by one rule, if it’s for us it was well over the line even my Gran could see that and she’s blind and If it’s against us no way was it over the line you really need to get your eyes tested.
