Or you could drive it from it’s parking place as one of the two hats tries putting a ticket on it, using your mobile. Stop 10 yards down the road and repeat until they get bored and move onto another car. My Dragons den idea is electrified windscreen wipers so the unwitting nugget gets a non-lethal but suitably strong bolt when they try and put a ticket under them. Also considering airbags for alloy wheels for female drivers-save a fortune in diamond cutting and refurbishment costs.

Any colour you like too This time next year I will be a millionaire! Our lass has had three brand new mini's back to back and everyone ended up looking like they had been driven by joy riders! Last one she managed to trash the alloy and slice through the side wall of the tyre I had just replaced a week previously with a side wall puncture! She also managed to reverse it into the electric gates and the brick pillar at a further cost of £500. Apparently all this was my fault, not her's!

Guest mkowl
What annoys me though is the ground was there before owt else. Why do the Council / AN others want to make life a pain in the ass for folk who are just going to a game that puts the city itself onto the map. Bit of give and take would not go amiss for what is 4 hours 26 or so times per year

You'll probably be ok down there next week. It's two or three times a season. What gets me, is that you can get a ticket for parking beyond a double yellow on a quiet side street with no through traffic, but you don't get a ticket for parking on the pavement along side double yellows by the leisure centre, where it's much more hazardous. That's the annoying thing, you walk from the ground having to walk on the road because of cars parked on the pavement, yet get ticketed on a quiet side street with little traffic or footfall. Nevermind at least we are still in the cup, wawaw
@owlstalk
I guess the price of a ticket once a season is way cheaper than parking in a paid carpark? Owlstalk Shop

Looking forward to reading " Owlstalks readers wives driving stories section" Sod George Hurst And Jordan Rhodes threads ...... got to be careful on mine our lass reads it (she's in the Snooty Fan Club) Bless em! First car I got our lass was a nearly new polo. Set off for work having picked it up earlier that morning. Got a sobbing phone call minutes later , saying the cars trashed! Couldn't get a coherent word our of her after that. Turned out she had followed a truck for around a 1/4 mile on the parkway which the prop shaft had broke on, flailed up the tarmac and thought is was rain hitting the car! This was on an bright July day! Every f'ing panel had to be re-sprayed! First mini she had she reversed into a parked van and then said "the rear park beeper had stopped beeping and was making one beep, so I carried on going". Second mini she drove into a bush and ripped all the bonnet decals and then swore blind it was not her! Bloke at Sytners manage to recover a small sample bag full of thorns from under it - even then she denied it! She then snapped the aerial off and dented the roof, when she tried putting the roof box on! She managed to go through at least 5 wing mirror caps knocking them off on the garage door reveals and then driving over them! She drove my 3 week-old A3 under my work bench in my garage and then claimed it had been keyed. I found flakes of the black pearlescent paint on the under side of it around two weeks later. She opened me door of the same said car onto a post in Macro, when I said watch the door and she was gassing on the phone. In summary, I feel it is time to get her on my third Dragon's Den idea - Wifetrader. Like Autotrader, but the online place you can trade in your old lass for a newer model. Few miles on the clock and has developed a whining noise, but generally a good runner. Failing that, a Fred West style patio

This may be the reason why Lowther Road is marked like this .. It's a cul de sac (industrial comercial premises) That blue line marker I think means no obstructing inside blue line unless you possess a permit does this business have hgvs queuing to load and unload ? and the dropped kerb is for turning round Hence no waiting at any time (probably says that on the sign ) I reckon somewhere near to its is a Hydrant outlet .. Total access required for HGV and emergency vehicles getting in and Out Is that premises some kind of hazardous substance businesses? Maybe why it's marked like this .... I park at Wisewood ask the people who live there if it's OK to park outside their house Mrs gets a bunch of flowers now and again the fella gets a nice bottle of drink too ..... Cars safe n sound to boot ......15 mins walk, jobs a good un .......

That said, there might be something about access, but I think not as the only factory access is down the bottom end. The dropped curbs look historic. 1
