When Abdi is fit, will he fit in one of the midfield 3 options?

He'll have to impress Jos in training like all the others. Clean slate.

Another one who if we can off load, it needs to be done, even though the double crosser who went to Swansea told us all "He Fits Like A Glove" people must have made a fortune in commission off the Chairman!!!!

Saw Abdi yesterday lunchtime trotting across the road and going into Barclays Bank opposite the town hall.

Looked to me like he was getting some serious flexibility training in as he swerved all of the beggars, big issue sellers and religious speakers on fargate.

Until the old lady with the tartan trolley went straight through him!!!

He still is a quality player on his day, just that day isn't regular enough due to injury. Was quality at Watford, especially 12/13

12/13?! I was still in short trousers and Anthony Gardner was our most injury-prone player! Them were the days...

abdi suits a free role. Jos plays quite a rigid solid midfield 3. Maybe push Abdi just in front of the 2, more like a 3-4-1-2 rather than 3-5-2. That is if Abdi gets in the team of course!

Had wondered about that. Maybe deploying him as a number 10. He does have a decent shot on him, so putting him in behind Joao might work out.

I would think he is unlikely to be a first choice. Jos likes highly industious typesand from what I have seen of Abdi this does not apply. Although ne may never have been fully fit.

As i remember the Watford fans said it was one of his main attributes. Always, moving, always offering, always making thing happen. behind a runner like Joao or Matias he could be really effective.

First step is getting him back on the pitch tho ofc.

Abdi just off Joao and Hooper?

Sounds great.. just have no idea what teh rest of the team is! :D

Probably want 2 defensive mid then, so Hutch and Pessy.

But then no Bannan, Lee or Reach in the middle. Reach could go wide left..

Good problems to have, i look forward to an empty treatment room!
