Yes it was here, next door to a shop that used to sell 2nd (nicked) cameras and electrical goods, think it was called Galaxie. Basically the top of the car park at the side of the courthouse. airborne_rat_of_s6
Shed a tear at its passing. Can’t remember the number of opposition fans I used to direct towards this establishment when milking around the station and in search of refreshments. I wasn't in there too long back but park the other end now! 10 maybe 15 years. FYI-the steel lines in the road are a super tram system finished in the 90’s.

Babychams on draught All seriousness, the rate of loss of so many landmark pubs and bars is pretty shocking. 5 arches and travellers were rammed in the 90’s. Very sad that these places are no more. As teenagers we used to ring up, putting on the most outrageously camp voice possible, to ask if they could put on a big gay birthday bash. Used to promise to make a booking if they promised to put on a tray of cheesy poofs. Never tired of it and whoever used to answer the phone would say, ah, it’s you toe rags again. Both use to laugh before hanging up.
