They can make and take a pass, and don't give away cheap possession or cheap free kicks. With us he had to play a system that was resilient against our many weaknesses. That's the difference between the premier league and the Championship. He had a squad made up of some of the best players in the championship whilst he was here. Anton DecChair
A snake oil salesman....... and there is a space for them in football. He couldn't put a team together . He can't put together a long term strategy . He can pull the wool over an inexperienced owner or chairman's eyes while inspiring some ordinary players. However, it's short term. Look at his record. He can have some impact over a season, perhaps longer with a decent set of players. He does what he does. Unfortunately, those in charge at Hillsborough had no idea. We have really suffered because of poor management at the highest level.

Yes he has, but the effects of his appalling management still impact on the the new boss and the squad, not to mention the owner who stuck with him and failed to see what so many supporters were aware of over a long period. Talking about a team's current situation and it's future cannot be done without addressing the past. "Get over it ! " is the the classic statement of someone who doesn't want to think too hard. 1

We're addressing it not whingeing about it. We're discussing it here, giving opinions about what went wrong and what needs to be done to correct the situation. Looking at the personnel involved and the decisions they made. Saying "Get over it" shows you've no intention of learning from it.

Guest Ash76
FFS, drop it, he’s gone. No applause or booing next week, it’s a rule I have On a separate point I still can’t believe people think we have one of the best squads in the league. We have a very good first team but our squad lacks quality in depth. In fact, aside from the first 11 it’s mediocre to poor Edited February 6, 2018 by Ash76

Anyone applauding him next week wants their hands chopping off. ... a fraud that's going to win Manager of the Month in the Premier League, and whose squad is likely to beat the blue off of our kit when Swansea comes to town. He has the skilled players he need to play his style of game now. Working out well for him and Swansea so far.
